i replaced water pump,flushed coolant system and hoses appear o.k... my heat is not working properly.What else could the issue be??

When the engine is at operating temperature, the heater hoses should be hot to the touch. If one is hot and one is cold you may have a plugged heater core.
You say you flushed the system and now you have no heat. You may not have gotten all the air out of the system.
If there is a water shut off valve in the heater hose, check to see if it is allowing good flow. Some are cable operated, some are vacuum operated, check to see if the actuating systems are working correctly.
Check the blend door operation.
