Looking to buy a used F150 and I came across a 1995 F150 xlt. It has just north of 136K miles. The truck has been well cared for and is in very good shape. What can I expect buying an older truck like that? Am I better off to stick with something newer - say a 2009 or 2010?

If you’re going to use it as a daily driver or work truck, I suggest looking for a newer one. A 26 year old vehicle is a bit of a gamble for a daily driver even if it’s in good condition. Looking at a 2009 or 2010 model is a good idea - just avoid the 5.4L tri-valve V8 engine Ford trucks because they had a lot of issues.
