Should I buy this Camry

As I continue my search for a V6 car, I ran into a 1995  Toyota Camry V6 with about 54,000 Miles for 6k? To good to be true ? Any specific issues to watch out for those cars? Some people have said most cars didn't have an OBD2 until 1996 so is that a problem or concern ?

Do they have the service records? You can also download the carfax car care app for free and enter the vin as if it's your car and look for any drops in mileage - like if it goes from like 180k miles to 45k miles between service records, then you'll know they replaced the dash. You don't NEED OBD2 to be sneaky and find stuff out. Lol.

Those cars were absolute gems. I would jump on that car. In 1995 the 4 cyl Camry was OBD1 but I think that was the year that they switched the 6 cyl Camry to OBD2.

Wouldn't  really be a problem. As there is still obd1 lol still can read codes and whatnot if need be. But being a 95 the only major concern is you are buying a car that is as old as I am, 25-26 years. Make sure that you get it checked out by a tech if you don't know what you are looking at. If the person refuses for any reason, then they be hiding something. And for sure I would look at a service record. If it is really that milage and everything has been updated. Then it's a great deal.
