I would like to know if this is a good idea. Some info: I am about to go to college, and my current car is a 2010 Kia Soul. No issues whatsoever with the car its at around 98k miles.  I would have to sell the soul to buy this celica. Is it too much of a risk?

I have owned one of those and im 6ft6 so was not the best fit for me. When I had mine it had about 234000miles on her and was leaving oil bad but was running when I sold it. Overall I enjoyed the car but would not recommend it for anyone who is tall. I hed mine 2 years and only had to put a starter on it. And I think I spent more on oil on mine than parts. The person who had it before me really dogged it daily.

lol I am probably close to a foot shorter than you so that wont be a problem. Owner says it runs fine no mention of burning oil.

I usally just buy cheap cars and run the rest of their life out , but mine seemed tough.  Besides the oil leak the only issue i had was the top would leak during really heavy rains but I'm pretty sure it was because of a seal or tear behind the door. I honestly dogged it as well doing my pizza delivery at the time and she hung in there . She got good gas mileage and as of last year it was still being drove by the guy who got it from me.

Avoid Celicas with Yamaha engines, others are good and have mechanic check it out.
