1996 jeep wrangler country starts when it wants to. Sometimes it will start in neutral when wont do it in park. Nautral safety switch was replaced and it started 5 times and was driven 30 miles then it wont start again. Also rpms and speedometer works at times.

Sounds like you have some kind of wiring problem which would make total sense. Of course, sometimes it will work. Sometimes it won't. But also you could just have a worn out starter. I would start by having a mechanic check the starter and look at all the wiring for corroded wiring or loose connections
