Hello, everyone!
I just recently bought a 2007 Acura TL Type-S, 116,700 miles, Automatic Transmission.
I’ve noticed that the power steering reservoir has fluid that bubbles and just falls out from where the cap is at and the car had a whine and groan to it.
I took the time today to replace the o-rings and the car slightly turns better; however, there is still some stiffness to be felt. There is also a groaning noise that is still present, and the car seems to pull to my left when I try keeping the wheel straight and I just had it aligned earlier this morning.
I’ve read it could be a power steering pump or even a rack and pinion issue. I wanted to check in first before I did anything at all.
Thank you!
Yeah generally either the pump is bad or the rack. As the rack cost a small fortune. I would advise trying the pump first
