  1. Hello Scotty!

I have a 1996 Lexus LS400 with 117,000 miles on the clock.  I had a failing ignition coil cause fuel to burn in the exhaust manifold and subsequently damaged at least one of the convertors. I repplaced the coils then confirmed at least one cat is damaged after hearing the usual rattles and removed to inspect. Are there any decent aftermarket direct fit cats that will not throw a code? The factory ones are too pricey to buy for this old car.

Yes, the factory ones are horrendously expensive. I always use Walker or Bosal.

Check out MagnaFlow. I have experience using their direct fit. No codes after install.

Thanks. I'll check them out
