1997 camry not starting

Scotty, I have a 1997 toyota camry 146k miles and it's not starting.  Last week I had my battery and alternator tested at Walmart after my battery light came on while driving, and they said my alternator was bad.  So they charged it up and I was able to get it to a shop across town.  A few days later, the shop said it was my battery.  Today I noticed I had no rpm's while stopped and was able to limp my car into a parking lot.  Turned it off and now I have the battery click of death.  Was walmart correct in saying my alternator was bad.  Thanks

Sounds like an alternator to me. Should be super easy to check if ya gotta voltmeter. Should see be seeing between 12.5 to 14v when engine is running. Alternator probably $65 to $90 bucks
