what do you think ab a 1997 Ford Mustang GT with 104,xxx miles? Do you think it’s just going to be a money pit or somewhat unreliable? It’s owned by an mechanic.

Those were actually half decent. It can be a great toy.

They can be great cars if they are taken care of. The 4.6L V8 is a very reliable motor.
One thing to watch out for on those is the odometer. The plastic gears that roll the numbers were prone to breaking. You want to make sure it is working so that you know the mileage is correct. I would also have a different mechanic inspect it prior to purchase.
