Scotty, in your opinion how good is a 1997 GMC Yukon 4 door 4 wheel drive and how good does it do in the mud and snow

that's exactly what 4WD is for.
But it's a 26+ year old car. I hope you don't plan to daily it.

well winter is coming, so you'll find out soon how well she does in the snow. Make sure your tires and brakes are in good shape. Lots of maintenance to do on a 4WD driveline.

I do drive it daily but my trips are short maybe 50 miles a week. The engine runs strong, doesn't use or burn oil, the transmission shifts fine there is no leaks anywhere. It's been well maintained
