so i bought this car for $700 earlier this month and i keep tripping p0700 and p0740 the p0700 is just stating that an error has been detected in the transmission but p0740 is for the tcc solenoid or the torque convertor and only triggers when going between 50 and 63 mph but i haven't noticed any drivability issues, any ideas (really don't want to spent more than the car is worth)
also its on its second motor and has over 234k miles on the trans and body

Since you don't know how or if the transmission was maintained properly (fluid and filter changes) it's a crap shoot at this point.
