Hello,
My Mazda Pickup misfires after I accelerate. If I accelerate too hard in first or second gear, she will stall. This happens when the engine is cold. I can warm her up for 30 minutes and she will still misfire.
This symptom goes away after a bit of driving around the block, but idling still seems a little rough.
Eventually I do get a code from the computer for a misfire in the first cylinder.
Here is a list of what has been done to my Mazda:
Remanufactured Ford Motor
Motorcraft Ignition coils and spark plugs
Rebuilt Ford fuel injectors
New fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter
New carbon canister, purge valve
New EGR valve, solenoid, sensor
Delphi Idle air control valve,
Motorcraft throttle body position sensor
Air temperature sensor
Delphi MAS sensor
Refurbished Ford computer
NGK camshaft and crankshaft sensors
Delphi O2 sensors
Cylinder comparison test, leak down test
smoke test for vacuum leaks
electrical trouble shooting and testing grounds
:envy:
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Thomas Mello
I love my truck, even though she doesn't love me back.
