Hey Scotty I have a 2010 Dodge Charger RT, 120k miles. I had a check engine light come on for three codes (all the same) P0481. Changed the blown radiator fan motor Relay and Coolant temp sensor and now show 1 code error. Check engine light went off for about a day, then came back on. Relay was blown again and now getting two p0481 codes. Car gets real hot when idling. Other than that stays around 190°-220° (Unless idling). Any clue if I’ll need a new fan motor or a short in the electric lines? Thanks!

Simpson gets real hot I'd assume you need a new fan motor. Unplug the fan motor and if the system doesn't get hot that's it

Hi Scotty. Swapped my radiator fan assembly. Found my wire harness was grounding out. Repaired that. Check engine went away for 2 days now it’s back. Fuse popped again.  Before doing more surgery on the harness, any other suggestions? Thanks!

Another update: changed the fuse, away goes the check engine light. Seems like once the engine gets to about 215° it blows.
