Should I buy this 1997 Saturn SL

I'm thinking of buying a 1997 Saturn sl. It's almost got 150,000 miles and has a 5 speed manual. Just wondering if it would be a good daily driver, or should I pass? 1900 bucks from a dealer.

Too, too much to ask for a 24 year old, discontinued economy car. My wife had a 1996 SL1 back-in-the-day. It was OK, until it was rear-ended on a Texas highway. But, it's a very slow car, even the manual. Saturn's been gone, as a brand, for 12 years. It was never a high quality car and they are disappearing from the landscape.

I wouldn't count on it as a daily driver, unless you were driving less than 5 miles a day. Having said that, offer less, and have an independent pre-purchase inspection done, to assess risk/benefit, before laying down any cash, if you go that route. Just don't except Corolla reliability out of this car.
