1998 Acura TL how to fix slow warm up and ticking engine at low engine speed

Good afternoon

My 98 Acura TL V6 with 170k miles won't warm up as fast as it used to and can hear engine noise under 2 rpms when not gassing it now that it's a old car.

I tried changing the thermostat and temp sensor, had no luck. I even tried Motul 0w-20 and can't see a difference.

What depends what you mean by warming up if you mean the temperature gauge doesn't get to the middle quickly enough and you change the thermostat. Really, the thermostat is the only thing that affects how the gauge warms up. Other than the gauge itself being broken and not working correctly. But if you mean it doesn't accelerate until it's warmed up a while, it might need new fuel injectors, but you could have them pressure cleaned by a mechanic and have the mass air flow sensor tested to see if that's worn out
