Scotty, I have a 1998 Toyota Camry V6 with ~250000 miles that still runs smooth with only a few small issues (P0135 for O2 heater circuit and P0446 for an EVAP Vent Solenoid). One other small thing I’ve noticed is that on cold startup, the car idles at around 2000 rpm and bangs into gear when I back out of the garage unless I wait about 2 minutes for the idle to drop. It’s livable but I’m nitpicky and tried cleaning the IAC valve to see if it would help but no dice. Should I live with it or is there an easy fix?

The IAC valve or the hoses going to it may be worn and leaky after 27 years, letting too much air in.
