Tips from an Auto Shop - What do you think?

Came across an auto shop that has a "Vehicle Tips" section listed on their website.  What do you guys think of this shop?

Few tips I coped from their site:

The cooling system should be completely flushed and refilled about every 24 months. The level, condition, and concentration of coolant should be checked. (A 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water is usually recommended.)

Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual, or more often (every 3,000 miles) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage or tow a trailer.

Change the transmission fluid and filter every 15,000 to 18,000 miles. This will protect the precision-crafted components of the transmission/transaxle.

Have the fuel filter changed every 10,000 miles to prevent rust, dirt and other impurities from entering the fuel system.

That Auto Shop is suggesting an increase in the frequency of fluid changes so they can make more money, to increase garage traffic.

I've seen many cars with original fuel filters running great at 100K miles. "Waste your money here" shop!

Sounds like they're sticking with the kind of maintenance recommendations we had in the 1960s. I'm surprised they're not calling for a tuneup every 10,000 miles. Modern cars don't have maintenance needs quite that intensive.

I especially "liked" the idea of changing transmission fluid with filter every 12k-18k miles and engine coolant every 24 months.

Wonder if anyone actually falls for this "money-making" recommendations.
