Hi whoever is reading this! I’m currently trying to bring my 1998 Tahoe back to its glory. It’s got 325,000 miles on it and is still running strong. One issue I’ve had for a while, has been the lack of breaks. It takes more force than it should to get the car stopped. But when it’s raining outside and the car gets wet, the car stops on a dime with little pressure on the breaks. We had a mechanic look at it and he didn’t know what was wrong, so my YouTube endeavors led me here. Thanks in advance for the help!

Have you checked pads for glazing or contamination?
