I have come across the above mentioned van for sale. It has an 8 cylinder 4.6 L engine with 137,000 miles. Is this a well made engine that would be long lasting and easy to repair and get parts for? Thank you!

Those 4.6 v8s are great engines. Fords are generally easy to get parts for, Overall I would have a mechanic check it out first and go for it if they say its ok.

The 4.6L engine is good. The biggest problem is the coolant crossover on the all plastic intake manifolds tend to crack and leak antifreeze. If this one has the replacement intake manifold with the metal coolant crossover you are good to go.
