I recently got a bought this new car to work on its 1998 mustang GT and noticed when I was driving it back I couldn’t get past 90mph and when I would try to floor it I wouldn’t feel any acceleration or any more power going nor would the rpm’s go up as well as I would feel the car shake kinda felt like something was trying to do something but could and it would stop after I let off the gas. Would you have any idea on what is Causing this to happen. I do have a bad rear diff pinion bearing I don’t if that would cause this issue

Most likely previous owners over the last 25 years also driving the car like maniacs.
Start with the basics (filters, spark plugs, fuel pressure, injectors, etc.), scan for codes and live data.
