I came across a 1998 Mazda B2300 at the local Toyota dealership for $2800 “out the door” at a local Toyota dealership. $2500 for the truck and $300 for all of Oregon’s taxes.
The truck two wheel drive, has 208,000 miles, a five speed manual and heat and A/C system work. The transmission shifts nicely in all gears and it does track straight during the short five minute test drive.
Should this truck pass an independent inspection....
Okay, will I laugh or cry and kiss 2800 bucks goodbye if purchase this truck for a weekend household chore truck and dirt bike hauler?.

As far as I know that is basically a Ford pickup and they are pretty decent yes have a mechanic check it out before purchase and if it is in good shape then why not plus it is not your daily driver it could last a long time.
