Hey Scotty , I have a 1998 Buick park avenue with 109000 mile on it . The problem I'm having is when I turn my AC on the battery light comes on.

The AC takes up extra power, so either the battery is dying or the alternator is dying. (check the battery cables while you're at it!)

How old is your battery?
Load test your battery & alternator, both.

If the battery and alternator are good, odds are that the AC compressor is on its way out.
