Hello Scotty Kilmer,
I got a 1998 Toyota RAV4 with 460000 miles on it. It was running great but, lately I start it right up… gone somewhere and came out from the store, it did not start. I crank it couple times and still not start, then wait for a little bit and it started right back up. It did to me several times like that. Last week, I came out from the house, I cranked the car, it started right up and pull out from the driveway. I just start driving away then, I forgot something and I put it in reverse to go back to the house and it died on me. I keep cranks it couple times and it still not starts then, wait for a little bit and cranks, it still….not starts. I have to push it to the driveway. Next day… crank but not start….still crank but not starts…
I have followed direction on your YouTube but still not starts…
Spray starting fluid into sensor hole
Spray starting fluid into throttle body
Clean inside throttle body.
I got spark from the spark plugs and still not start…
I have jumpstarted from another car and still not starts…
I have unplugged the connector from camshaft position sensor and test the resistance and it got over 1000 ohms.
I have replaced fuel pump, spark plugs, fuel filter, PCV valve, air filter and still not starts…
Any other suggestions???
Please help!!!
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
@danny18
I think you should look over your engine , maybe the problem is related to the interior mechanic of the engine , that's why everything you did was not enough to start the car
How about the crankshaft PS....
Did you ever figure out the problem? I have a similar issue with a Rav 4.
