The car is a Chrysler concord trying to start it up after it sat for several months. Probably 7-8. Put a fresh battery in and checked the oil, primed the fuel pump by turning the key on and off 3x and then it turned over. It cranked but then stopped hard, I was going to take off the starter and have it checked, I don’t know if that is the best course since it’s hard to get to and the only thing I want to do is get it running and sell it. I’ve taken a hammer and tapped on it in the past when it sat for a couple of months and it started. What would you recommend me doing from cheapest solution on up? The car has about 150k miles on it. Thank you.
if it's cranking then starter is fine. I would be more suspect of fuel delivery after sitting so long.
