[Solved] Boot broken?

Topic starter

Is this a problem? See picture. I just watched Scotty's video on struts and decided to inspect mine. The bottoms looked dry but the top part the rubber casing, I think are called boots, look ripped on all four wheels. Is this okay or do I need to fix this? Any help and education would be appreciated.

I just had the oil changed by a mobile mechanic last month and he said everything looked great. It is the first time I used that mechanic.

Those are dust covers. No big deal. You can try reattaching with cable ties or something.

If they are dry, they don’t leak yet. So you are fine.
