I have a 1999 Toyota Camry with a diagnostic trouble code P0446. The mileage is 217, 500.. We do not do emissions testing in Alabama. Is it necessary for us to fix or will it cause trouble later?

It's the self-test system for the evap system. Doesn't look like it will be a problem if you don't have to worry about emission inspections:
