1999 chevy silverado 6.0l 2500 ls 4x4 pickup

hello . hope all is good . the above mentioned vehicle driver window wont role up . i found a bad drk grn wire and replaced it . it didnt work , in fact now when i back probe master switch and brown or blue wire(those go to the motor from master switch ) it sparks amd didnt before . also now when i engage the switch to go down it clicks and a few second later it clicks again . but pushing up, it s quiet .the spark i refered to is prolly a short to ground ? adn for [expletive deleted] and gigles i pulled the entre harness out to check it and the passenger window still mworks.
