Hi there I have a Canadian built 1999 ft150 lariat 5.4 triton 4wd it has 310xxx Kms on the clock I just purchased for 17k Australian $$  

I would like your opinion and sure advice on the trucks engine, transmission, and also your thoughts about the 310,000kms on the dial. Seems too drive okay mechanical wise after I change a very dirty air and fuel filter. I know these trucks are work horses so I have faith haha but it is 300,000 kms about 190,000 miles and 20 years old. I’d like too mention it uses a little coolant and slight smoke coming from oil cap also subtle ticking from the head but goes away after a few minutes
