Hi Scotty I've recently bought a '99 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with 248k miles for $1,800 is there anything I should be worried about?

Does that Expedition have the 4.6L or 5.4L V8? The bigger engine is known for Ford’s infamous spark plug blowout issue in which the spark plugs would blow out of their sockets. The smaller V8 engine from that era wasn’t affected as much. Realize it is 22 years old and with 250K miles, some normal wear items are likely to come up - brakes, assorted fluid changes, spark plugs, fuel filter etc. But, you got it cheap so don’t put a bunch of money into it.
