Hi Scotty,
I have 1999 Ford explorer with 4.0L engine. the truck sat for a while and I decided to use now the problem I have is when I hit the gas pedal it chokes unless if I baby the pedal and go really really smooth with it. before the truck sits everything was working just find. Where do I start with this?

Any codes stored?
Change your fuel filter and run fuel injector cleaner through it. The fuel filter is along the driver's side frame rail, beneath the driver's door. Put the fuel injector cleaner in at 1/2 a tank or so. It sounds like your fuel system isn't quite keeping up with demand unless changes in power are slow.
