Only looking for it to last me till summer but I know 280k is pushing it even for a Toyota.
Worth it?

Make sure to have a mechanic check it out. Have him do a pre-purchase inspection to make sure it is in good mechanical shape. Trust me, it is well worth the $100. And if it checks out well, then haggle on the price and go ahead. You could probably sell it after the summer for a resaonable amount of money whats the difference between 280k and 290k anyways it has depreciated and they can last a long time.

Yes, that car will last you until the summer no problem. It very well may last you forever.

Get it checked out by a mechanic.
That's a lot of miles... If it's got major engine/transmission/head gasket problems, pass it up.
Other than that, you ought to squeeze a few more miles out of it.
