Looking at buying a 1999 Toyota Solara with 260,000 miles on it. Has an automatic transmission. Is this car worth buying or is it going to be a money pit? I know Camrys and Corollas are great, but wasn't too sure on Solaras. Seems to be in good shape. Clean title.
The Solara is a Camry. How long that one will last after 24 years is anyone's guess. If that car cratered tomorrow it would still be considered to have been dependable and lasted a long time. Better have a good mechanic check it out before buying.

That's true, it could be on it's last legs. Any recommendations for cars? Preferably with automatic transmission? Just trying to avoid buying another lemon.
