This should be simple but it's proving not to be. I'm trying to find somewhere to purchase an oil dipstick for a 1999 Isuzu Trooper. Any suggestions?
You could install a universal dipstick. Do an oil and filter change with the correct amount of oil so you know the crankcase is full, adjust dipstick accordingly.

Look up what exact engine you have. See what other cars share that engine. Try looking for dipsticks for those cars. The Rodeo and the Axiom come to mind, but you’d have to double check.
And last but not least, the junkyard may have your make model and engine. You could pull one from them if it matches.
dipstick tube length can vary by vehicle model to accommodate body shape, even if they have the same engine.
my van dipstick about as long as I am. Same engine on a pickup it'll probably be half that.
