My car kills the battery instantly when starting the car. I changed the alternator, replaced the battery twice, checked for any blown fuse both in engine bay area and the passenger hood area. I charge the battery with a tender to full for a week, stick it in the car, start and the battery dies right away. What should I be looking for?

  1. Well to begin with, have the starter low tested. You could have a bad starter motor that shorten it out. Other than that, you'd have to have some kind of serious wiring short between the battery, the ignition switch and the starter to short it out that fast
