Hi, I have a question about the seriousness of this rattle. I hear varying stories on repairing or leaving it be without ever any problems. Is there any remedy to it outside of repairing such as using a thinner oil, additives. or changing frequency. I do watch the oil levels carefully. Thanks

Are you sure that's what it is? Have you done troubleshooting to eliminate the other possibilities? Many things can cause rattle, like worn belt tensioners.
Have you consulted a mechanic?

thinner oil definitely won't quiet rattles. Usually people do the opposite, but it's not a good idea to change viscosities. Mechanic in a can won't fix anything either, and keep doing 5k intervals.
