Hi,
I’m replacing my tensioner and belt soon, but I wanted to know that I’m getting the right parts. I looked up the parts on Ford’s website and found comparable items on amazon. Also need a torque wrench, I found one on amazon too.
1) Does anybody know if these are good quality?
2) Is there another good option for a belt? I don’t see the exact size of the belt but I would think theres better options
3) Whats a good/cheap torque wrench?
4) Someone suggested I change my idler too. Does anyone know a good replacement part for that?
Im open to suggestions so any help is appreciated, thanks

Personally I prefer to buy my parts in store. If you are going to buy parts online I would recommend buying them from a dedicated auto parts retailer such as Rock Auto, 1Aauto, or Car Part Kings. The problem with buying parts on eBay or Amazon is there is always a risk of buying fake parts where they aren't actually made buy the company that they are branded as and then you have no idea what you are getting or the level of quality. Both Gates and Dayco are good names is assuming the parts that you found are legitimate then you should be good but unfortunately you have no real way of knowing.
Found different parts on ebay so I might get these instead (might be better because they claim ‘oem’, but im not 100% on them)
