2011 V6 Camry XLE Push Button Start
The car functions flawlessly. All maintenance is done regularly. Gas mileage on average between 25 and 29 mpg. In the 4 years the car was parked for almost 2 years. Changed the oil immediately after long term parking. Then in 2021 once in a while the car would take 1.5 seconds to start instead of the regular and precise 1 second. This has now progressed to 2 in 20 starts to take 1.5 seconds. 3 months ago it took almost 5 seconds to start after pushing the start button. In the last 2 years I have put a new battery, new tires, replaced original weak alternator with a new one, replaced 3 ignition coils with new ones on the back side. Then replaced the 3 ignition coils in the front with the 3 original that were from the back and the car still randomly takes 1.5 seconds and extremely rarely 2 seconds to start.
The V6 still delivers lots of power and awesome gas mileage. The car is only driven by 1 light-foot person. Just want to understand what is happening so any precautions and maintenance can be done now to avoid major repairs in the future.
Where the car said for a long time which isn't good for cars. I would start by having the fuel injection system pressure cleaned by a pro and see what happens. It could be a simple as dirty injectors
