Has anyone ever removed a crown Victoria starter? I have a 2000 CVPI and the top bolt on the starter is a issue to get to very tight area so most ppl use alot of extension and get it but I cannot seem to do so anyone can help me here please. I'm going into my 3rd day at trying and wish I could use a torch to cut it out.
Use a socket wrench and one of those universal joints on the end that allows it to go at various angles
@scottykilmer I have the space is so tight I can't get a click on the socket wrench. I might have to take the ac compressor out to get the length the pump is bad anyways. That's just bad design on that CVPI. Scotty btw love yer help and YouTube channel.
Thinking about it, in the past I've used a series of wobble extensions connected together to access starter bolts that were hard to get to, making the combination long and flexible enough that I could work a ratchet or at least a short breaker bar.
