Hey, my buddy has an 2001 f250 and the brake lights won’t shut off. He has been just disconnecting the battery to turn it off. I unplugged the brake switch that connects to the brake pedal and they still stayed on.
What would cause this?

Replace the brake light switch on the brake pedal. This is an always hot circuit, which is why the lights are on.
