When I start to accelerate, it sounds like a jet or big rig spooling up but when I let off the gas, the noise stops completely. Could I try cleaning the catalytic converter to see if its clogged?

Well I doubt if it's that I mean first you got to figure out where the noise is coming from so do my video finding the source of car noises Scotty. Any device like that can find the source pray it's not something wearing out inside the transmission
