My father in law got a 2021 Buick Envision with a 2.0 I-4 turbocharged engine.
The car only has 11k miles on it, and it’s already burning oil. He wanted to put extra washer fluid since the car flashed the washer fluid icon, and he thought of checking the oil. Turns out, it only has less than a quarter on it!!!
I have a Mazda CX-30 with 7k miles, and it hasn’t even had a problem with the engine. No oil burning, no issues, and it also helps me save gas!

It may have a Buick badge, but the Envision is made in China.
I've had GM vehicles my whole driving life and not had any issues with the any of them. They were all made in North America, US or Canada. Even my last Silverado was made in Mexico has treated me very well....But I wouldn't even consider any GM vehicle made in China, Korea etc...
Your success with GM vehicles is probably because you are meticulous when it comes to maintenance - fluids and lubricants.
