Hey scotty I got a 2000 Honda Odyssey with auto climate.
I have an issue with it switching from cold to hot. Whenever I try to swap from cold to heat or heat to cold, it does not swap. Right now it stays on Cold but the back shoots out heat and stays on heat. I've tried looking at the heat control valve and all of that and even check the blender actuators. None of it, works. What could it be?
What is the mileage? Did you check for leaks?
It's got 185000 miles. I did check for leaks and got nothing. I changed the Ac compressor about two months ago. This issue was there before I changed the compressor.
Those generally it's a problem in either the climate control unit in the dash or the module that it sends power to. They are very complex computer systems you're going to have to see a Honda specialist on that one who can bi-directionally test the system
