Hi Scotty, I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan, (I know how much you love those lol). Driving down the road, the oil pressure light came on and the engine started ticking. Then about a couple of minutes later the light went out and ticking went away. Could that be a bad oil pressure sensor or do you think it might be a blockage of an oil path?

Sounds like your oil pump might be on its way to retiring, and your engine will be right behind if it goes. If you didn't get ticking, then it could've been a sensor. There is an issue. Make sure your oil level's good. It can do that if you have low oil and are on inclines. Make sure you didn't double gasket your oil filter as well. That will cause leaks and corresponding oil pressure loss.
