I wouldn't pay anything for a vehicle like that. But if I had to choose a number, no more than $200.

I was mulling it over and thinking $500 but I think you're closer to the mark.

The Land Rover vehicle is arguably the worst combination of English engineering and English electronics.  I wouldn't have one as a planter.

Well that's a horse of a different color. It doesn't look like the 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser is a model that is particularly problem prone, however you're looking at a 22-23 year-old vehicle so you need to be prepared to deal with age and mileage related issues. It could easily become a real money pit, especially if you don't work on it yourself and need to run to a mechanic for every little thing..

Be sure to have a good mechanic check it out thoroughly before purchase if you decide to proceed. (I have no idea how much money those are going for.)

Asking 4000

That is too much money for a 2000 Land Cruiser with 250k miles. Look at something else.

If you want a Land Cruiser and you're willing to pay the price check Bring a Trailer; you see a lot of them there in various conditions. So if you want one and are open to paying the price (a low mileage clean one isn't cheap) keep an eye there.

??

Not sure what your question and hence the "??" is for; so what's the question?

I'm sorry but I'm not really sure but you were trying to say in your answer

Oh cool I just realized it's a website. I found some private seller on OfferUp he's asking $4,250

Here's a link to get an idea of what prices a 2000 Land Cruiser is going for; definitely a lot more than $200 or $500 but it depends on the condition too. 250k miles is a lot and the closest to that is a 218k miles one that went for $9500. But again I will add it depends a lot on the condition of the car too; if it has some rust it'll reduce the value for sure.

If it is in good shape, and you have some maintenance records, that could be a good deal.

How much rust would be my question, otherwise those things hold their value.
