Hello Scotty I’m having a hard time deciding on what to do. I have a 2000 mercury grand marquis and the cylinder heads have went out due to too much oil (driver side knocking) and now I wonder should I replace the heads, or get a new motor?

I don't understand what happened to your engine.

Are you saying there was too much oil added to the engine and it hydrolocked?

You stated the driver side is knocking, so does the engine run or has it seized up?

Who made the diagnosis?

Just curious.
