Hey, my mom's 2000 Sable Wagon's leaking oil all over the cadilatic converty and engine block, its got 170k miles, do you think it's worth getting new gaskets and rebuild, because she doesn't got any money and i don't got money to spare to get her a new car.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDuGeQnMOzk <---- Buy this kit and use it to find where it leaking at. You'll have to drive the car around a bit after you put in the dye but you should be able to follow that to where it's leaking. Then you can easily figure out what need work because oil can leak from several places and this is a way to figure out for sure so you can see what the costs for repairs could be and take it to a mechanic you trust to help you further. Good luck <3

@jacksonishere
it currently won't turn over and it will drain all the oil within minutes same with coolant i think the head gasket may be blown, its leaking oil all over theres oil on the heads and the block and the cadilatic converter, but i'll try it. thankyou, its my moms dream car so i want er to run again

Oh jeez If its that bad you gotta tow it somewhere and just hope that just the head gasket unfortunately those repairs aren't cheap so try and talk to as many mechanics in your area as you can and try and get it somewhere. best of luck

@jacksonishere
i took a better look at it, it is the headgasket but we probably are just gonna sell as is bc someone might be giving us a small pickup truck
