I've had some farmers mention replacing a qt of oil with diesel and idling for 30min, I've also heard of replacing a qt of oil with ATF.  Just curious, has anyone 'experimented' with replacing a qt of oil with Gumout Regane Hi-mileage fuel cleaner to the engine oil to free up a sticky lifter?

Huh? Diesel does not have the same lubricating powers as oil.

Where did you hear that? ATF is not designed for the engine.

I personally have never heard of that cleaner. Maybe someone else has. However, do a Google search for Scotty’s friend. Bernie. Bernie Albuquerque ATS fuel treatment. That is never a bad choice.
