I have an Isuzu Trooper Automatic 2002. Transmission Slips only when you hit the gas with power on start up. Do I need a transmission fluid change? The car has 89,000 actual miles.

It's more likely you need a new transmission. Or, you may have a solenoid hanging when you start out. (You would need a transmission expert with a fancy scan tool to verify that. (Automatic transmissions are very complex and there is little one can do with them at home.)
