I have a 2007 Suzuki M50 s soon as I push the start button it blows the fuse in the starter relay next to the battery under the seat. I replaced the fuse and even the solenoid/relay and it worked fine for a few day. I've tried to locate a possible short, but haven't found anything yet. I wonder if the new relay could be bad? I'm totally stumped and any advice would be greatly appreciated!! From one Army Vet to another!!
Well I'd drive. The starter itself is wearing out and it's pulling too much. Amperage. Any good mechanic can hook up his Gage and when the car is cranking over he can see how many amps are being drained and if it's too much of course it'll keep popping it and you need a new starter. The only other thing they could do that would be bad wiring like an engine that is not grounded correctly or the power wire is going to. The starter are worn out or corroded on connections and I pull in too much power blowing the fuse
