Hey Scotty, i have a 2000 toyota tacoma 2.4L that just hit 300k miles and its a manual

ive been getting a PO303 recently, changed the spark plugs and the cylinder 3 Coil but the code still comes up. The engine light seems to only turn on when doing mundane things tho like idling or causaling pulling up to a stop sign. code does not come on when on freeway. Thanks man big fan!

Well it could easily be a vacuum like somewhere that affects the number three cylinder like an intake manifold gasket leak. Cuz the leak will make it misfire at lower speeds but at high speeds a little bit isn't going to bother it when you're going fast but when idling at low speeds of vacuum like will cause problems

Thanks Scotty! got it checked out and my cylinder 3 is reading at 90 compression and the rest are reading 150 or 160. So pretty much i understand i have a slightly burnt valve. Seams to only misfire during idle and preforms with no misfires when in gear or revving tho so i think i m going to run it till the wheels fall off. Any suggestions helping my Cylinder 3?
